Since 2014, I have been guiding people to relaxation, peace of mind and body in water.
On July 1st, 2023, I achieved the status of Watsu® Water Therapy PRACTITIONER – what does this mean?
A Watsu® Practitioner is someone who has completed the Watsu® Basic, Watsu® 1, Watsu® 2, and Watsu® 3 courses, has extensive practical experience, and participates in mastery training. A practitioner can work in SPAs, rehabilitation centers, and hospitals.
On the path to becoming a practitioner since 2014, I was introduced to the subtleties of water practices by Jurgita Švedienė, Tomasz Zagorski, Basia Szpak Borst, and later – Boglarka Nagy. I am a member of the Watsu LT and WABA associations, where we bond for shared activities, projects, and the promotion of our beloved practices.
My history of WABA-approved aquatic therapy training can be summarized as a journey—from my very first course, when I timidly began to accompany, explore, and observe the human body, its movement and expression in water, to gradually improving, gaining more and more skills and confidence—in myself, in the human body, its expression and wisdom.
